Democrats want America to be invaded by 50, 100, or more "refugee" caravans a year

Richard A. Viguerie, Chairman, FedUp PAC

(This is the first of two articles to appear on FedUp PAC this week, about the most politically charged issue of the midterm election.  The Democrats and their leftist mobs have given us an unexpected opportunity to connect with Republican and Independent voters on this issue—but we must use this opportunity.)

Videos of that “refugee” caravan from Central America headed for the U.S. border are alarming Americans.  We should be alarmed.  This is an invasion of the United States comparable to the invasion of Europe by persons fleeing the Middle East in the past decade.  Only the invaders’ countries of origin are different.

As the videos show, the Central American caravan—now estimated at 7,000 individuals—is the size of two U.S. Army brigades, headed by a brigadier general.  They may be unarmed (at least most of them) but they do constitute an invading army.

This invading caravan provides an unexpected opportunity, however, for conservatives and Republicans in the closing weeks of the midterm election.

We can talk all we want about the number of illegals entering the United States from Mexico, but for most people statistics are boring and hard to comprehend.  Now we have very graphic video illustrations of what is going on south of the border.  Now we can explain to voters:

“You see that ‘caravan’ from Central America headed for our border?  Last year the U.S. was invaded by 44 caravans of that size.  Only they came in a daily torrent rather than as caravans, which made them even harder to apprehend.”

Then, when you have their attention (and they will now be wide awake), here is the statistic you can use to back up your claim:  “Last year (fiscal year 2017, extending to September 30, 2018) the Border Patrol apprehended 310,531 illegal aliens on the Mexican border.  That’s equal to 44 caravans the size of the one now marching from Central America.”

See how that changes a boring statistic into a graphic illustration of just how serious our illegal invasion is?

Now add this in your illustration to voters:

“You see that ‘caravan’ from Central America headed for our border?  During the Obama presidency, the U.S. was invaded by 527 caravans of that size.  Only they came in a daily torrent rather than as caravans, which made them even harder to apprehend.  And in just two years, despite total Democrat opposition, President Trump has reduced that invasion by 21%.”

That seems totally improbable, you may think, but here are the statistics to back up your claim:  “During the eight years of the Obama presidency, the Border Patrol apprehended 3,692,825 illegal aliens on the Mexican border.  That’s equal to 527 caravans the size of the one now marching from Central America.”

See what I mean about the power of graphic images of the Central American caravan?  I bet you are as shocked as I was when I first figured this out from official U.S. Border Patrol figures.

Here’s more points you can make with voters, now that you have their attention:

 ·         The mainstream media, in bed with the Democrat Party, portrays the Central American caravan as “refugees” made up mostly of mothers fleeing with their young children.  So why do the live videos of the caravan show mostly single young men?

  • Even the most pro-Democrat immigration websites admit that the Border Patrol caught hundreds of MS-13 members last year crossing the Mexican border into the U.S.  That’s hundreds of members of one of the most violent criminal elements in the U.S. (source: lawfareblog.com), and that counts only the ones determined by the Border Patrol to be MS-13 members.  How many got in with their criminal association undetected?  Our Border Patrol officers are overworked and overextended, and MS-13 gang members don’t wear headbands or T-shirts boasting of their criminal affiliation.
  • Don’t let Mexico off the hook.  President Trump is demanding and getting more respect for the U.S. from Mexico, and the current caravan in the news is from Central America (Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador), but of those 300,000 illegals apprehended last year about half still came from Mexico.  Keep the pressure on Mexico, President Trump!

Yes, the invading caravan from Central America gives us an unexpected and unparalleled opportunity to sway voters—but only if we use it.  We must use the graphic images to explain why a Democrat victory in the midterm election next month would truly put the U.S. at the mercy of an invading army.

So, each of you must email your family and friends, the members of your church and civic organizations, using the Central American caravan to warn them of the terrifying true extent of our invasion from south of the border.  Start a blog (if you haven’t done so already), post on Facebook and the other social media, and in letters to the editor and the comments sections of articles and websites.  Call in to the radio and TV shows you follow.  Talk to candidates about making this issue, and videos of the Central American caravan, a key theme in the final weeks of the election.  AND DO THIS CONSTANTLY UNTIL ELECTION DAY.

(Coming next this week on FedUp PAC:  Why the Democrats welcome and need the foreign invasion.  Hint: Rush calls them “undocumented Democrat voters.”)
