A majority of Conservatives want presidential candidate Donald Trump to change his mind and take part in Thursday’s Republican debate according to a poll by FedUp PAC.
59% said that Trump should not carry out his plan to boycott the debate compared to 34% who support the boycott. Only 46% agree with Trump that Fox anchorwoman Megyn Kelly, one of the debate moderators, has a conflict of interest that should rule out her participation.
The debate should go on, with 69% saying that Trump’s boycott should not cause it to be canceled. Only 29% are “very concerned” that Trump’s absence would deprive Iowa voters of the information they need before Monday’s caucuses, while 49% say there is no reason at all to be concerned.
FedUp PAC is a grass roots organization that wants constitutional conservatives to take over the GOP because Americans are fed up with the Republican establishment. It is not affiliated with any candidate or committee.
