CHALLENGE SUMMARY: On January 26, 2016, Ted Cruz invited Donald Trump to a one-on-one debate without any of the other Presidential candidates.

Under the terms of the challenge, Trump could pick the moderator. National radio talk show host Mark Levin offered 90 minutes on his program for the debate event. As of Sunday, February 14, Donald Trump had yet to answer the Ted Cruz challenge.

Cruz and Trump are the clear frontrunners for the 2016 Republican Presidential nomination. The likelihood is overwhelming that one of them will win the GOP nomination. Both candidates appeal to conservative voters who might find it easier to decide which one to support after hearing them debate one-on-one.
