Dear xxTitle Last Namexx,
As a registered Republican voter in XX congressional district #/and state nameXXX, you can have an important role in helping save President Trump from a media-led lynch mob determined to impeach him.
After you have read this e-mail carefully, I will ask you to answer a brief four-question 2018 Campaign Preview Survey.
But first, I want to remind you that XXCongressman or Senator XXNameXX was elected to an influential leadership position in Congress. Besides helping enact President Trump’s agenda, XXCongressman or Senator XXNameXX is responsible for defending the President against the steady drumbeat of “fake news” reported daily by mainstream media outlets like MSNBC, CNN and the Washington Post.
There is not a shred of evidence to prove that President Trump’s campaign “colluded” with Russia or that the President has done anything illegal. Still, President Trump’s approval rating is being driven down by this relentless and false media narrative. The “fake news” broadcasters know it is possible to weaken President Trump politically to the point that he could be the cause of Republicans’ losing control of the House and Senate in the 2018 midterm congressional primaries and elections. And if that happens, President Trump would be virtually defenseless against the left-wing groups and liberals in Congress determined to impeach him.
Unfortunately, XXCongressman or Senator XXNameXX is failing to speak out forcefully in defense of President Trump. Right now, when the President needs him most, XXCongressman or Senator XXNameXX is missing in action.
Now that the 2018 midterm elections are approaching, this is the time when XXCongressman or Senator XXNameXX will begin listening and paying attention to Republican voters like you. Please make time to write a personal letter, make a phone call, or send an e-mail, fax, postcard or text message to XXCongressman or Senator XXNameXX.
Urge him to come out strongly in defense of President Trump. Ask him to challenge the fake-news media narrative that paints the President as a criminal. Send the message that you want him to fight, lead or get out of the way. If you need contact information, see the Action Steps at the end of this message.
Your letter or phone call , along with those from thousands of other Republicans in your XXdistirct/stateXX, will be heard. You have power as a Republican voter. Please use it. Contact XXCongressman or SenatorXXNameXX and make your views known.
Sincerely,
Richard A. Viguerie
Chairman
