Democrats and establishment Republicans are still hoping to push an amnesty bill through Congress. President Trump is insisting on a bill that addresses the need to secure our border, end chain migration, and abolish diversity visas.

Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows has warned Speaker Ryan that passage of the Democrats’ amnesty bill instead of the Trump-supported legislation could lead Freedom Caucus members to have Ryan removed as speaker. (A similar effort caused former Speaker John Boehner to resign before he could be removed.)

Should House Republicans remove Ryan and choose a new speaker if Ryan cooperates with Democrats to pass their amnesty bill?
