There can be little doubt that if Democrats win control of the House of Representatives this fall, they will continue their persecution of Justice Brett Kavanaugh by beginning impeachment proceedings against him.
They may not be able to remove him from office (that would require a two-thirds vote of the Senate), but the Democrats understand that just carrying out the impeachment process would accomplish some of their radical goals.
Committee hearings that endlessly repeat the accusations against Kavanaugh, even without proof, will shape public opinion so as to reduce the perceived legitimacy of Court decisions depending on Kavanaugh’s vote. Such hearings will also provide an opportunity for newly-invented accusations to reach a wide audience (imagine the coverage that the major news networks will provide).
Justice Kavanaugh’s life will continue to be one of dealing with never-ending smears. Can we expect him to be fully effective in carrying out his judicial duties in that atmosphere?
The continuing investigations of Kavanaugh will also send a warning to other potential Trump appointees – accept a nomination and we can do the same thing to you.
And it’s not just judges who have to worry. Don’t forget that Trump’s cabinet secretaries and other executive branch officials are all subject to impeachment. (President Grant’s Secretary of War, William Belknap, was impeached by the House in 1876 and quickly resigned.)
There is only one way to prevent this abuse of power – keep Republicans in control of the House. Despite talk of a “blue wave”, that is very much a possibility. The Real Clear Politics projections from recent polling show Democrats only six seats ahead, and Sabato’s Crystal Ball describes Democrats only a “soft” favorite to win the House in November.
Two years ago, Democrats were expected to win the Senate, and we stopped them. We can do it again this year in the House of Representatives.
Key swing voters need to know just how extreme today’s Democrats really are, and FedUp PAC is just the one to get that message out.
Our Chairman, Richard Viguerie, is the man who invented targeted political marketing, bypassing expensive media such as TV (where most of the money is wasted reaching people who have made up their mind or won’t vote), and zeroing in on the small number of voters who will decide the election.
Just two years ago FedUp PAC set out to warn voters how they would suffer if Hillary Clinton were elected President. We targeted states such as Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. That effort helped swing them into line for Donald Trump while also helping elect senators in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Wisconsin.
We can do it again in 2018. We can make sure voters know why they must keep Republicans in control of the House and add to the Senate majority.
But to win, FedUp PAC must have your help.
We know how to use the latest technology to target the voters who will swing the elections. This program of voter contact by email, FaceBook, etc. is relatively cheap, and highly cost-effective (especially compared to expensive TV spots seen mostly by non-voters and confirmed liberals), but it is not free.
That is why your donation of $25, $100, $500, $1,000 or more to FedUp PAC is needed today – because with polls showing what could be an across-the-board Democratic triumph, even in some deep-red states, there is not a day to waste.
FedUp PAC is already planning what needs to be done to protect Republican control of Congress. Those plans can move forward as soon as we have the funds to proceed.
With your help, we can make 2018 a year that moves us further toward Making American Great Again. Without it, FedUp PAC will be sitting on the sidelines, unable to help.
So please, send your best donation of $25, $100, $500, $1,000 or whatever you can afford.
