Trump Strikes A Blow For The Rule Of Law

"In the “Saturday Night Massacre” Nixon was attempting to stymie the investigation of the Watergate break-in and cover-up by forcing Richardson or Ruckelshaus to fire Special Counsel Archibald Cox.

Quite the opposite happened yesterday, when it was Comey who was fired for stymieing the investigations of Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin by releasing and commenting on the details of the FBI investigation of their email practices, and then unilaterally clearing them, even though their conduct on its face showed a violation of a number of statutes."

Will Establishment Republicans Join Efforts to Impeach Trump?

Will Establishment Republicans Join Efforts to Impeach Trump?

The move to end Donald Trump’s presidency by impeachment is underway, and Trump supporters would be wise to take it seriously.

Just weeks after Trump took office, a poll showed the public equally divided on whether to impeach him. City councils from Cambridge, Massachusetts to Berkeley, California have called on the House to begin impeachment proceedings against the President. Almost one million people have signed an impeachment petition promoted by Impeach Trump Now.

Conservatives Expect Economic Surge From Trump Tax Reform

Conservatives Expect Economic Surge From Trump Tax Reform

Conservatives are confident that the tax reform plan outlined by President Trump is the right solution for the sluggish economy, according to a poll by FedUp PAC.

Using lower and simpler taxes to jump-start the economy is endorsed by 96%, while only 2% are more concerned about the effect on the Federal deficit.

Slow economic growth and persistent unemployment was a factor in Trump’s election last year, and getting the economy moving again is one of the administration’s top priorities.

Hillary Clinton’s Belated Victory Party

Hillary Clinton’s Belated Victory Party

"Yesterday Democratic Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and his Democrat-led House majority passed an Omnibus spending bill to fund the federal government for the rest of the fiscal year – from now to September 30, 2017.

Democrats claimed victory over Republicans after passage of the bill, which excluded funding for the southern border wall and avoided $18 billion in domestic spending cuts sought by President Trump.

Trump Following Reagan’s Successful Example on Taxes

Trump Following Reagan’s Successful Example on Taxes

President Trump’s announcement of the outline of his tax reform plan, and the establishment reaction to it, made it seem like 1981 all over again.

Once again a President boldly offered much-needed tax relief and once again the establishment responded by saying that Washington needs that money more than taxpayers do.

Conservatives Say Obey the Law, Let ObamaCare Collapse

Conservatives Say Obey the Law, Let ObamaCare Collapse

Conservatives overwhelmingly support allowing ObamaCare to collapse rather than propping it up with illegal taxpayer funded-subsidies, according to a poll by FedUP PAC.

Letting ObamaCare “collapse” has the support of 96%, while only 3% say that keeping ObamaCare in place justifies breaking the law by providing the subsidies.

A Federal judge ruled last year that some of the ObamaCare subsidies paid to insurance companies are illegal because Congress has never approved the spending. The case is now on appeal, and the subsidies have continued.

Trump's First 100 Days: Good But Missing An Important Commitment to Christians, Especially Catholics

"As conservatives assess President Trump’s first 100 days, most of us are satisfied with the President’s executive actions. Congressional inaction on the conservative agenda is of course fodder for many more columns, but Donald Trump has fulfilled his campaign promises to conservatives in many areas, however, there is one glaring omission; action on religious liberty.

Trump Is Right – The Georgia Special Election Was a GOP Victory

Trump Is Right – The Georgia Special Election Was a GOP Victory

Democrats and liberal pundits have been ridiculing President Trump for claiming that last Tuesday’s special election for a House seat in Georgia was a Republican victory, but Trump knows what he is talking about (just as he did last year when he stunned those who said he could not possibly be elected).

The special election to fill the House seat left vacant when Tom Price became Secretary of Health and Human Services was nearly the perfect opportunity for Democrats to win a Republican seat and gain momentum heading into 2018.

"When John Boehner’s Chief of Staff Barry Jackson made his move to the private sector he joked, “It’s sort of like ‘Hotel California… A member of Boehnerland is never allowed to leave.”

And as far as we can tell by who is getting appointed to top jobs in the Trump administration Johnny DeStefano hasn’t left Boehnerland.
