Conservatives say that Hillary Clinton should be prosecuted for her crime of handling classified material with gross negligence, according to a poll by FedUp PAC. Prosecution was supported by 99%, with only 1% disagreeing.

FBI director James Comey criticized Clinton for the “extreme carelessness” with which she handled classified information, including some that was top secret. Comey also confirmed that much of Clinton’s defense for using her private email server had been lies.

Although Comey said that any “reasonable person” would have known that Clinton’s careless actions were wrong, he defended his recommendation against prosecution by saying that Clinton herself would not have understood this.

Some Republicans have called on the Obama administration to deny Clinton access to the classified briefings that presidential candidates usually receive. A bill has been introduced to make this a matter of law, taking the decision out of Obama’s hands.
