The Democrats' #1 Goal is to Impeach President Trump

The American people do not agree, so we must keep reminding voters that the midterm election is all about impeachment

The Democrat Party has been captured by the leftist forces that supply it with the ground troops, money, and energy it needs if it is to win the midterm election.

The Democrats abandoned the middle class, and now the middle class has abandoned the Democrats. That leaves a strident and often violent leftist coalition in control of the Democrat Party.

And their number one goal is to impeach President Trump. His "crime"? No, it has nothing to do with Russia. His crime was to defeat Hillary in 2016. This is an attempted coup d'etat in progress.

I call as my witnesses:

≥Rep. Maxine Waters (D-California) to MSNBC: Trump "will be impeached, and certainly has committed the high crimes and misdemeanors that is [sic] identified by the Constitution as such that would qualify him for impeachment." She adds: People are starting to realize there is "something real about all of this."

≥ Democrat Senators Elizabeth Warren (Massachusetts), Dick Durbin (Illinois) , Chris Coons (Delaware), Ben Cardin (Maryland), and Jeff Merkley (Oregon) have introduced a bill that would require President Trump to divest various financial assets, including a statement that failure to divest such assets (which he hasn't done) would constitute high crimes and misdemeanors "under the impeachment clause of the U.S. Constitution." Vanity Fair characterized this as a preemptive effort to lay the groundwork for a future impeachment argument.

≥Rep. Brad Sherman (D-California): "I have concluded that the president has obstructed justice and in so doing, the remedy for obstruction of justice is impeachment…. I'm not going to be deterred." He has formally introduced an Article of Impeachment. Democrats in the House Judiciary committee demanded that hearings begin as soon as possible, but the Republican members of the committee refused to do that, so the Democrats are waiting to take control of the House.

≥Similarly, six other Democrats in the House have introduced five articles of impeachment.

≥Unhinged former CIA Director John Brennan—thank you, President Trump, for revoking his security clearance!—calls the actions of the president "nothing short of treasonous."

≥One of the impeachment websites (needtoimpeach.com) already has almost 6 million signatures.

≥ "Progressive" billionaire hedge-fund manager Tom Steyer has funded another impeachment campaign that soon gathered over 1.9 million signatures.

≥Three constitutional lawyer-activists have published a book that provides fodder for the impeachment crowd: The Constitution Demands It: The Case for the Impeachment of Donald Trump.

≥Even some Republicans have joined the cause. Texas State Rep. Jason Villalba, a Republican from Dallas, penned a piece for The Texas Tribune headlined: "It's time to impeach the president." "Donald J. Trump is no longer our leader," he writes. "It is time to push him into the ash bin of history. Today, I ask you to impeach Trump."

And the list goes on.

But canny Democrat strategists like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer don't want to discuss this until they take over Congress. They know impeachment has no chance while Republicans are in control. They are waiting…

The latest CNN poll on impeachment shows that a majority of Americans oppose impeachment. But look at the partisan divide: 87% of Republicans and people who lean Republican oppose the idea, while 71% of Democrats support it.

This demonstrates how the far-Left has taken over the Democrat Party. And there is no way Trump-obsessed Nancy Pelosi will ignore the wishes of 71% of her party. Make no mistake: If the Democrats win the midterm election, the long knives will come out.

This is why we must make it clear that impeachment is on the table. We must mobilize the strong Republican and Independent majority that opposes impeachment and the turmoil that would follow such a coup.
