FedUp PAC Fights to Overcome Election “Enthusiasm Gap”

FedUp PAC StaffFedUp PAC Fights to Overcome Election Enthusiasm Gap

Are you worried?

YOU SHOULD BE!

Are you worried that the Democratic victory in last Tuesday's Wisconsin Supreme Court election added to the already abundant evidence that Democrats have the benefit of a large "enthusiasm gap", meaning that Democrats are much more motivated to turn out and vote than are the populist and conservative voters that Republicans count on?

YOU SHOULD BE!

That enthusiasm gap allowed Democrats to win a Pennsylvania House seat last month, and a strongly Republican Wisconsin state senate seat earlier this year. It also played a role in Doug Jones' victory over Roy Moore in Alabama.

Democratic hatred of President Trump makes them eager to go to the polls and cast a vote against all Republicans. Every win in a special election, trumpeted by the media as a repudiation of the President, boosts their morale and increases their desire to vote in November. Electing a House of Representatives that will impeach Trump is their freely admitted goal, and they believe it is easily within reach.

Republican voters feel no such urgency about voting, and we should not be surprised by their apathy. What rewards have they received from the big GOP victories of 2010, 2014, and 2016?

Republicans in Congress broke their promise to repeal ObamaCare. Despite its GOP majority, Congress has prohibited the building of a wall along the Mexican border. A House bill to improve border security and get tough on illegal aliens has not even been brought up for a vote, despite being supported by key committee chairmen. The recent $1.3 trillion spending bill ignored all promises of spending restraint and handed the Democrats most of what they demanded.

FedUp PAC's job is to overcome this apathy by reminding voters of the consequences of Democratic victories in 2018 and 2020. FedUp PAC was successful, in the 2016 election, in motivating voters by pointing out how they would suffer if Hillary Clinton were elected president.

By targeting swing voters in swing states, FedUp PAC helped move Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin into the Trump column. In two of those states, we even helped reelect GOP Senators whose campaigns had been written off as hopeless.

We must do that again this year - or the consequences will be severe.

If Democrats win the Senate, it is likely Trump will never put another Federal judge on the bench unless he first clears the appointment with the Democrats. That means an end to the nomination of constitutional conservatives, and a return to the sort of judges chosen by Barack Obama.

If Democrats win the House, President Trump is guaranteed to be the target of endless investigations, leading eventually to a vote on impeachment. He will be vilified, his ability to govern undermined, and his legitimacy as president called into question so that his chances of winning reelection in 2020 will nearly vanish.

A Democratic Congress means a strong push for gun control, the government takeover of our health care (i.e. single payer), more regulations, higher taxes, and the erosion of religious liberty.

A Democratic Congress also means we will have to forget about additional money for securing the border, deporting illegal aliens, and protecting American jobs. Some Democrats are even promising to cut off all funding for deportations.

FedUp PAC must not only warn about the dangers of Democratic rule - we must also point out the opportunity of electing a Congress more favorable to Trump. Not only are there Democratic seats that can be turned Republican (especially in the Senate), there are anti-Trump Republicans who can be replaced. Some of these Republicans are retiring, and some already face serious primary competition.

If populist and conservative voters can be persuaded to go to the polls, we can disappoint the Democrats and make 2018 a good year for President Trump. We can give him a more cooperative Congress and make it easier to Drain the Swamp.

FedUp PAC made a difference in 2016 with its narrowly targeted email campaigns, making sure swing voters knew the truth about Hillary Clinton.

We must do the same thing in 2018, so that voters will know what is at stake if Democrats win control of Congress.

The first fifteen months of the Trump administration have also been a time of accomplishment. Tax cuts and deregulation have the economy surging. The appointments of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court and other constitutional conservatives to Federal Appeals Courts are reversing the damage done by President Obama. Portions of ObamaCare have been repealed by Congress, and President Trump has rolled it back where executive authority allows. Arrests and deportations of illegal aliens are increasing.

Trump can add to these accomplishments in 2019 and 2020, but only if we elect a Congress willing to work with him.

We need to start electing that Congress right now. Eleven states have primaries next month, and FedUp PAC must do everything possible to nominate Republicans who support the populist- conservative agenda of President Trump.

Our narrowly targeted email campaigns are effective. We saw the proof in 2016. But to win, FedUp PAC needs your help.

This voter contact by email is relatively cheap, and highly cost-effective, but it is not free.

That is why your donation of $25, $50, $100, $500, $1000 or more to FedUp PAC is needed today.

With your help, we can elect a Congress that will support President Trump's agenda, not impeach him. Without it, we'll be sitting on the sidelines, unable to help.

Without FedUp PAC, the enthusiasm gap favoring Democrats will produce an anti-Trump landslide. We must not let that happen.
